Nathanael Smith, BA
Major: Graphic Design
Minor: Mathematics
Presently I am the graphic designer and sign-maker at Harrison Sign Company. Here I do anything from designing a new small or large sign, to actually building a sign using die-cut or digitally printed vinyl, laid on various metallic or plastic-based materials. I now know how to quote most signage, and am learning daily more about selling signs and designing using my BA degree from Arkansas Tech University.
I also have a budding side-business through my photography, and some of my artwork. I have my photography listed on Fine Art America, and have entered several galleries and other professional exhibits over the last several months.. On June 1st, 2014, I was honored with second place in the photography contest at the River Valley Art Center in Russellville, AR, where I first presented my work publicly after graduating college. On July 31st, 2014, I was the first artist to cosign at a new gallery opening up in Russellville, AR (A Conversation Piece). Over the next few months, I have entered various competitions, and have been seeking other avenues in which to promote my photography and artwork. My dream would be to have my work available in every Hobby Lobby across the country for anyone to purchase, and to have my photography in National Geographic Magazine. Any moves towards this is greatly appreciated: Thank you for helping me on my journey towards these goals. Feel free to share my website and help promote my work. My photography is for sale 24-7, and my other venues are available as I open them up. Thank you for your time.
